2660 Memorial Blvd – Tornado Forensic Assessment and Re-Construction

 Provided forensic assessment post-tornado as well as ground-up structural engineering services for re-construction effort. In order to meet the client’s timeline restrictions, SLATE was able to coordinate the design effort on a fast-tracked schedule with all parties involved including interior and exterior architecture teams, MEP, and construction teams.

The Kelvin – Construction Assistance/Truss Repair – Huntsville, AL

The project consisted of multiple 3-story multifamily structures on a large site in Huntsville, AL. SLATE provided construction assistance and roof truss repair structural repair inspection for ongoing issues during construction.

Alabama Power – Calhoun Generating Facility – Miscellaneous Platforms – Eastaboga, AL

Provided structural engineering for multi-level steel-framed access platform in power generation plant. Existing conditions were fully modelled in BIM software, clearances verified to adjacent equipment and shared with the client for approval and visualization. Construction documents were then generated based on approved layout.

Heritage Village

Provided ground-up structural engineering services for proposed two-story multi-family structure in Columbia, TN. The two-building facility will consist of approximately 24,000 square footage of residential space.

McAlister’s Deli – Multiple Locations

SLATE provides prototype adapt structural engineering services to the ever-expanding restaurant chain in the southwest, Midwest and southeast regions.

Cornerstone Hotel

Provided structural engineering for proposed exterior modifications for downtown boutique hotel in Nashville. The scope consisted of floor infill framing at first floor along with multi-story exterior modifications.
